What we're About
Fireside 180 is a grass-root approach to equip, connect and strengthen men as leaders in their communities.
The Fireside setting is a way to cast our nets, to connect men together, and draw them deeper in knowing Christ and the power of his Word.
OUr Approach
At a Fireside gathering, you will hear two questions as we move towards this goal of intimate fellowship:
"What is God teaching you? And what are you doing about it?"
With these questions, men can dig deep into their hearts and reflect on who they are in Christ.
The Rules and Why
Maintaining confidentiality is important. We need a safe and confidential place to share what's going on in our personal lives.
"What's said at the fire stays at the fire!"
Some nights are heavy subjects and some nights are light depending on how God leads. We hold strong in knowing that what is shared will not be shared outside of this band of brothers.
What the fire is not
The Fires are not therapy or group counseling. We do strive to connect and engage men in the places where God has them growing.
We do not promote or encourage negativity. It is not a place to nurture negative views regarding relationships or even world events.
We are not about living isolated and doing life alone. Instead, Fireside180 promotes becoming a better man by growing in our authenticity and understanding that God is guiding my steps and He does have a plan.
God is not caught by surprise and heaven does not panic what is going on in our lives and the world around us. The heartbeat of the fires is to pray for one another and encourage a deeper relationship with our Great Creator. The Fireside environment is where we band together as brothers and walk life out together.
Our prayer is for our Heavenly Father to change us, mold us, and strengthen us to become more and more like Christ.
